FKC and The Full Service Centers
The Florida Kinship Center is an on site partner at Just Full Service Center and Sanchez Full Service Center. The Full Service Centers are a part of the School District of Hillsborough County. The goal of the Full Service Centers is to address concerns related to parents not accessing early education opportunities for their children. Community partners from throughout the county have come together and committed themselves to making services more readily available to the community; collaborating with one another to address the needs of families; and promote self-sufficiency among the clients served.
So, what does this mean to you as a relative caregiver? This means you can schedule time to meet with one of our Kinship Care Staff face to face to get some upfront solutions and assistance for some issues related to your kinship placement. Specifically, The Florida Kinship Center will be providing developmental assessments and DCF ACCESS assistance to relative caregivers.
